Ken Carroll assumes role of Vice President, Marketing and Revenue at KAM
The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers is proud to announce that Ken Carroll, a highly qualified and experienced veteran of business, government and education, will assume Marty Kish's role as Vice President, Marketing and Revenue. Since July, Ken has headed up KAM's Kentucky Prosperity Project. "Ken will be working with our members and sponsors over the coming days and weeks to ensure a smooth transition." says Jim LeMaster, President and CEO of KAM.
Ken will take over the responsibilities of Marty Kish, KAM's Vice President of Marketing and Revenue, as he will be leaving KAM after Monday, Dec. 1, 2008. Marty has accepted the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Affiliated Computer Services Inc., a $7 billion global technology outsourcing company with a major office in Lexington. "The KAM Marty is leaving now is a vastly different and far superior organization than the one he joined two-and-a-half years ago, thanks to his hard work as well as the contributions of many other staff, Board members, sponsors and partners. KAM is extremely well-positioned for growth and service to our stakeholders." said LeMaster.
"Our number one goal is to ensure our sponsors and members receive even better service and value from KAM in the future. As your president and CEO, I will continue to run KAM in a highly ethical and member/sponsor responsive manner." said LeMaster. "Our administrative/operations team, led by Ruth Billings, is second-to-none. Tim Savage, our membership director, fully understands how to deliver top value to our members and sponsors for your investment in KAM. And finally I believe our nine-person lobbying team, the largest of its type in Kentucky, represents you in Frankfort better than any other team assembled." LeMaster added.
Prior to joining KAM, Carroll was manager of Industry Education Operations for the University of Kentucky Center for Manufacturing (C4M). His past career stops include executive director of the Bluegrass State Skills Corp.; the Legislative Research Commission; as well as work in retailing, construction and manufacturing.
Carroll is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and holds a C4M Lean Systems Certification. He is a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (AMP); has served as chairman of the Frankfort/Franklin County Tourist & Convention Commission and as is a member of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development.
