Kish Irish Government Expert on High-Tech Irish Economy To Address Kentucky Manufacturers at Louisville Awards Luncheon Nov. 2 Louisville – Thomas McEvoy, vice president of the Ireland Industrial Development Agency of the Irish government, will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming 2007 Kentucky Manufacturer of the Year and Employee of the Year Awards Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 2 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville. Both Kentucky gubernatorial candidates have also been invited to speak and are expected to address representatives of Kentucky’s largest industry and number one economic contributor. The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM) sponsors the annual luncheon, which recognizes Manufacturer of the Year award winners in the small, mid-size and large categories. This year, KAM will also present its first Kentucky Manufacturing Employee of the Year award. Greenebaum Doll & McDonald is presenting sponsor of the event. An independent panel of judges has already selected the winners, which will be announced at the luncheon. A manufacturing supplier trade show will be held at the Galt House just prior to the luncheon and awards ceremony. He currently resides in Chicago and continues to work for the Irish government.
